
Artaca are a creative and talented UK teen band (14-16 yrs) who have been writing, performing and
producing their own music for over 3 years. Their sound is a unique blend of pop and indie rock,
perfectly layered with poetic and heartfelt lyrics.
Oscar, the band’s frontman was a finalist in BBC singing talent show Got What it Takes (series 6) in
2021. He attends the Brit School, where he studies music.
The band first met at school aged 11, each bringing their own musical tastes and talents, which
blend to create the distinctive sound of Artaca.
Artaca have been interviewed on BBC radio and have had BBC and independent radio play many
times. They released their debut 6 track EP in 2020, followed by a single release with AWAL in 2021.
They play gigs and festivals around London & the South East, and were the youngest ever winners of
Horsham Battle of the Bands in 2020.
The band will shortly be going into the studio to record their second album.
