Artaca are a creative and talented UK teen band (16-18yrs) who have been writing, performing and
producing their own music for over 5 years. Their sound is a unique blend of pop and indie rock.
The band first met at school aged 11, each bringing their own musical tastes and talents, which
blend to create the distinctive sound of Artaca.
Oscar, the band’s frontman was a finalist in BBC singing talent show Got What it Takes (series 6) in 2021. He attends the Brit School, where he studies music.
Artaca have been interviewed on BBC radio and have had BBC and independent radio play
many times. Their latest single 'Luminous' is available now.
Their debut EP was released in 2020, followed by a single release with AWAL in 2021.
Artaca play gigs and festivals around London & the South East. They were
winners of the Basement Door's Battle of the Bands 2023 and
the youngest ever winners of Horsham Battle of the Bands in 2020.
The band plan to be going into the studio to record new material soon.
